The Hampson Beauty Team can’t wait to welcome you through our doors on Monday 12th April. We want to reassure you that we have made our clinics as safe as possible by implementing all the necessary COVID-19 safeguards. All of our technicians are fully equipped with PPE and all beauty tools. All surfaces are cleaned before each appointment.

It’s been a while…

We know it has been a long time since you have had a treatment with us. For some of you, it may even be your first visit! So, let’s get excited and prepare you for your next appointment.

We’re focusing on treatments you love:

Nourished Nails

Do you love gel on natural nails or are you craving stiletto acrylics?

Whatever your choice it is important to decide before you come into the clinic so that no time is wasted during your appointment.

If you’re thinking of having acrylics, you must ensure your natural nails are ready for action! If they’re feeling fragile, use a nail strengthener to build up resistance. Our team recommend O.P.I Nail Envy, which can be purchased in-house or via our online shop. Apply two coats to your natural nail and then one coat every other day to build strength. Remove at the end of the week and repeat the process.

For natural and acrylic treatments, moisturise regularly to prepare, but avoid doing so on the day of your appointment. Please do not pick off any old gel polish, wait for it to be removed safely by us. A nail strengthener may still be applied on top. Try not to pick any hang-nails, instead apply cuticle oil to nourish the area around the nail and the nail itself.

Lastly, please choose a reference photo to help our girls select the correct colour, length and shape for your nails.

Beautiful Brows

Big, fluffy brows set the trend in 2020. We offer Definition Brows, Henna Brows, Brow Lamination and Microblading. If you are ready for us to give you the perfect brows, here’s a couple of pre-treatment pointers we recommend.

Definition Brows:

Avoid plucking or trimming your brows as waxing, tweezing and threading is included in the treatment. Use a gentle exfoliant to scrub the brows and cleanse regularly.

Henna Brows:

Use a gentle exfoliant to scrub the brows to remove any dead skin cells. Clean the brows with Prospa lash and brow foam cleanser. Make sure you book a patch test 48 hours before your treatment to ensure you are not allergic to any of the Henna tint ingredients.

Microblading:

A consultation will be required to ensure the treatment is right for you. Avoid drinking coffee or alcohol 48 hours before treatment, as this can potentially make treatment more painful. Avoid plucking, tanning, facials and botox for two weeks before treatment. If you have a sunburn, the treatment will need to be rescheduled. Also, do not exercise the day of the procedure to avoid excess oil in the skin. Lightly exfoliate the area the night before treatment.

Brow Lamination:

Brows should be conditioned daily in the lead up to your visit. This is to ensure the hairs are moisturised and not too dry. You should avoid Henna and any brow tinting procedure within 2 weeks of the treatment to prevent brow hairs from becoming overprocessed. Don’t wax, thread or tweeze at least a week before your appointment.

If you have any areas of missing eyebrow hair or wish to grow out your brows before treatment, use the Prospa brow and lash re-growth serum. Apply twice daily for best results.

Luscious Lashes

Use the Prospa lash re-growth serum to grow your lashes to your desired length. Decide between a lash lift and tint or eyelash extensions. If you go for lash extensions, you must ensure your lashes are clean and healthy.

Eyelash Extensions:

Remember, we offer Classic, Hybrid and Russian Lashes. Please bear in mind that prices increase depending on the style of the lash.

Visit our website for details. Use the Prospa lash and brow foam cleanser to clean your lashes before and after treatment.

Lash Lift & Tint:

Avoid caffeinated drinks on the day of your appointment as they can make your lashes flutter.

Do not wear makeup. Makeup products worn close to the eye will need to be removed before the lash procedure. Coming to your appointment with a clean face will save time. Don’t wear mascara, your lashes must be fresh + clean. Remove any sun/face cream from the eye area as this can reduce the longevity of the treatment. Lastly, avoid curling your lashes on the day of your appointment, lashes must be in their most natural state.

Perfect Patch Tests

Patch testing helps us identify any substances that may cause you to have an allergic reaction. It determines whether you are suitable for the full treatment. Due to COVID-19, we kindly ask both new and existing clients to book in for a patch test at least 24 hours* before your appointment if applicable.

We are so excited to see you all very soon!

Stay safe.
