The A/C/C/O/R plasma cosmetic corrector pen is one of the latest generation in cosmetic devices which requires zero surgery. In the past these problematic areas listed above have been treated with dermabraision, deep chemical peels or carbon dioxide laser resurfacing, however this is a non-invasive treatment using Plasma, which is a burst of thermal energy using a low frequency technology that vapourises the surface layers of the skin tissue in a small shot to create a tightening and rejuvenating effect on the skin that lasts up to 5 years. Tiny dark brown spots appear where each individual shot has been fired (normally in a grid formation), but will flake off over the following days (can be up to 2 weeks depending on your own skin healing process). Results from the plasma cosmetic corrector are seen instantly as the skin around the spots, tightens, pulling the skin cells closer together, however the best apperance is seen after 3 weeks and can be ongoing up to 8 weeks due to the cycle of skin renewal.
A consultation is required to assess the plasma cosmetic corrector treatment area requirements, this will also include a patch test to determine suitability and a perscription for anaesthetic cream for yourself for treatment day.
Aftercare Following the Plasma cosmetic corrector:
- Anti inflammatory medication can be taken
- Swelling may occur for up to 72hrs, a dry cold compress will help to reduce discomfort.
- Scabbing will develop over the treated area and will make between 4-7 days to flake off
- DO NOT PICK the scabs as this may lead to infection or scaring
- Keep treatment area clean and dry.
